On Tuesday, February 18, UNC Green Labs Hosted Blair Pollock from Orange County Solid Waste for our Spring 2020 lecture. Mr. Pollock, as a longtime solid waste expert, provided some valuable insight about methods labs can use to reduce plastic waste. Additionally, Mr. Pollock explained the importance of plastic recycling in the North Carolina economy.
