Interested in making your lab more sustainable, cost-effective and efficient? You’ve come to the right place!

Since its inception in 2009, the UNC Green Labs effort has listened to the concerns of lab managers and introduced a range of innovative programs with partners across campus.

For example, in 2010, UNC Energy Management and other campus units hosted the first “Shut the Sash” campaign to encourage labs to save energy. Now, shutting the sash is part of our every day lab practice!
