On December 9th, UNC Green Labs hosted our last quarterly talk of the year with Dr. Patricia Basta of UNC’s own BioSpecimen Processing Facility. This past August, Dr. Basta’s Lab won The Freezer Challenge, a nationwide cold storage contest coordinated by My Green Lab and the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories. In the talk, Dr. Basta spoke on sustainable cold-storage system practices and we took a look at the BioSpecimen Processing Facility in a video tour!
